WHY YOUR FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT?

Education is the foundation that teaches us to tell right from wrong.”
It’s not just a system. It’s the seed of every decision we make as we grow.

Solomon Ortiz once said, “Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.” But the story doesn’t start in the classroom. It begins at home  with parents.

Long before a child meets their first school teacher, they’re already learning by observing their parents.

A parent’s character, communication, values, emotional intelligence, and the way they handle life’s ups and downs all of this silently shapes the child’s mind. Children absorb everything. Their worldview is built in the living room, not the lecture hall.

Think of Mowgli from The Jungle Book. Raised in the wild, among animals, he adapted to the jungle not by choice, but by influence.
That’s how powerful environment is.

Once children step into school, teachers become the second sculptors of their personality. The role they play is irreplaceable. They build on the foundation that parents have laid.

Choosing the right school is not just about fees or facilities it’s about choosing the environment that will nurture your child's potential. It's about checking how teachers talk, how they discipline, how they encourage, and how they guide children emotionally and intellectually.

When Parenting Meets Accountability

Interestingly, China has proposed a law that would hold parents accountable for the misbehavior of their children.
While that’s open to debate, it shines a light on something important: Upbringing is a shared responsibility, not a solo job of the school.

No one is asking for perfection in parenting. But if a child grows up without empathy, without self-control, or without a sense of respect it’s not fair to blame just the child or the school.

The early years matter the most.
And in those years, the home is the true school.

What Real Education Looks Like

Real education isn't just about marks, medals, or degrees.

It's about:

These are not always taught in textbooks. They’re taught in daily conversations, in reactions, in how we treat people around us.

“A child who is loved will love. A child who is heard will listen. A child who is respected will respect.”

Before we expect children to win in the world, we must prepare them for it. That doesn’t always mean coaching classes or elite schooling. It means creating an atmosphere of growth, honesty, and care at home.

So yes, education is the key
But who gives the key first?
It’s the parents. Always.
